What’s the best way to become a millionaire?
I think everybody at some point in life dreams of being rich and asks themselves what’s the best way to become a millionaire?
To be honest, it’s only natural to want to be rich. Nobody was put on this earth to suffer and live in poverty.
Despite what over religious types might say that we can only serve god by being poor and humble, it’s simply not true.
It’s your right as a human being to wealthy, because without wealth you cannot find the time or space to help others and express yourself.
By spreading your wealth about you are ensuring that the poorer people can benefit, and in turn this makes them wealthy.
So with the moral question out of the way, what’s the best way to become a millionaire?
1. Believe you have wealth already.
This might sound a little tricky to do, or depending on your circumstances it might even feel like you are lying to yourself.
The fact is that unless you are in a war torn or drought ridden hell-hole, then you are already wealthy.
Most people in what we might class as civilized countries, have access to homes, cars, medical treatment, jobs, money and a comfortable lifestyle. The fact that you want more is irrelevant. If you earn between $25,000 and $60,000 per annum then you are in the top 5% wealth bracket in the world.
So, seeing as you are so wealthy, then you might as well accept it and be grateful for it.
The point I’m trying to get across here is that you are the sum total of what you think about all day.
Therefore, if you think wealth and positivity towards your current circumstances then you can’t help but attract and notice ideas and opportunities that will propel you forwards.
On the other hand, if all you think about all day is lack, then I’m sorry but that’s what you are going to bring into your life.
2. Enjoy the journey, not the destination.
Too many people view the final number as the end game. They spend too much time bemoaning things like ‘when I’ve got a million then I’ll be happy’
Life is a journey, not a final destination with 6 zero’s on the end. There is only one final destination and when your train pulls in at that station it doesn’t matter one jot how many zero’s you’ve got. They’re pretty much useless to you by then.
What I’m saying here is enjoy the journey. Becoming wealthy isn’t a race. There’s a lot of fun to be had along the way.
Anyway, how much is enough to change your life?
Would it change your life to have $10k per month, or $20, maybe $50?
I know a lot of people who would be more than happy with an income of $10K per month, believe me it’s a life changer.
3. Create multiple income streams from uninteresting niches.
My favorite way to create income streams is of course using the internet and creating affiliate niche sites.
Typically when people think of this, they look at the weight loss niche, or how to make money on line for example.
The trouble is that these aren’t niches, they’re whole industries. You need to learn to drill down into these niches and pick out the low hanging fruit. What are the smaller niches that people are interested in where there’s less competition?
Identify these and you’re onto a winner.
4. Get a mentor and mix with like-minded people.
Identify those who have done it already and mix with the market.
You’re not going to learn anything from the nay-sayers hanging around the coffee machine.
Find the successful people and feed off their energy.
5. Don’t expect JOB to make you wealthy.
Unless you absolutely make it to the top of your career, then nobody ever got rich from JOB (just over broke)
Job is designed to make other people and the government rich. I’m not saying give up your job straight away but you can use it as your base fund while you start a profitable internet business.
6. Create a high profit, low overhead business.
And talking of internet businesses, we are in the most incredible period of time to create enormous income and wealth for very little outlay.
Consider the opportunities we have for reaching a global market through the power of the internet.
It’s a way of doing business never dreamed of twenty years ago.
Compare the cost of creating a high profit, low overhead business compared with the many thousands required to set up a bricks and mortar business.
It’s within the reach of everybody.
7. Invest along the way.
Millionaire status isn’t always about cash in the bank. One of the fastest ways to create huge wealth is through investment property.
Consider adopting a program of investing in property along your journey. After 10 years I can pretty much guarantee you’ll be sat on more than a million
8. Turnover is vanity, not sanity.
Many people confuse wealth and success with how much business they are turning over. But it’s a very tenuous position to be in if your business is turning over a million but your overheads are nine hundred and ninety five-thousand.
Another reason to consider a low overhead business is it keeps the cash in the bank giving you choices and opportunity.
9. Accept defeat and keep moving forwards.
Too many people fall at the first hurdle. Don’t let past mistakes and regrets hold you back. If you do, you’ll be consumed by self-doubt and indecision.
To be successful you need to let go of the past and keep moving forward.
10. Keep it legal, ethical and honest.
It’s always tempting to make a fast buck by scamming somebody or getting involved in illegal activities.
However, this sort of income is always short lived and exposed.
Be professional and ethical in all you do or else you will never earn the amount of money that you would do if you were a respected business person.
Of course there are more than 10 ways, these are just a few examples that are proven time and again to be the traits of successful and ethical wealthy people the world over.
Also, there are lots of unethical and criminal ways to becoming wealthy, but at what cost?
If I had to choose my top 3 to get started quickly and offer long term sustainability, they would be:
1. Keep it legal, ethical and honest.
2. Create high profit, low overhead income streams.
3. Believe in yourself and keep moving forward.

Reading this post it seems that becoming a millionaire is more state of mind and consistency rather than coming up with an amazing invention.
If that’s true then everybody should be able to at least achieve wealth.
Don
Don,
I think you’ve hit the nail on the head.
Anybody can achieve anything with the right mindset.
But it needs to be said that the right tools and the right support make the process so much easier.
